How to Get to Antiparos 🏝️
Getting to Antiparos is super easy once you know the drill! Since there’s no airport on the island, you’ll first need to get to Paros, then take a short ferry across. Here’s the breakdown:
✈️ Get to Paros: Fly to Athens or to paros
- Fly to Paros (PAS): The easiest option! Paros has a small airport with flights from Athens (ATH) year-round and some seasonal flights from other Greek islands.
- Fly to Athens (ATH): If you can’t get a direct flight to Paros, land in Athens and take a ferry from Piraeus to Paros.
⛴ Get a Ferry to Paros from athens
- If you’re coming from Athens, you can take a ferry from Piraeus to Paros (3-4 hours) with Blue Star Ferries (bigger, slower) or Seajets (faster but pricier).
- There are also ferries from Mykonos, Naxos, Santorini, and other Cycladic islands to Paros if you’re island-hopping.
🛥 get a 10 minute Short Ferry from Paros to Antiparos
- Once you’re on Paros, head to Pounta Port (15 min taxi from Parikia). From there, a small ferry runs every 30 minutes to Antiparos.
- The ferry is super quick—just 7 minutes! 🚤 You can walk on or bring a car/scooter if you’re renting one.
- If you’re staying near Parikia, there’s also a passenger-only boat (25 mins) that runs from the main port in high season.
🚖 Getting Around Antiparos
Once you arrive, you can walk, rent a car, scooter, or bike. I recommend hiring a car in advance of the busy summer season.
