Petra

Petra, nicknamed The Rose City, is one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, and was once lost to the Western World. This blog covers everything you need to know about Petra, including best photograph spots (aka Instagrammable spots), hiking routes, when to visit, things to be aware of and more!

Amman

Everyone should make a pit stop in Amman, even if it's just for a day. I think of Amman as chaotically beautiful, buzzing with life, smoke, noise and people. It's certainly a diamond in the rough, but well worth the visit.

Wadi Rum

If you're in Jordan, you must stop by Wadi Rum a UNESCO world heritage site. Take one step into this desert and you'll understand why it's called Mars on Earth, and you can see why it was the chosen site for the filming of the movie The Martian. Stay in Bedouin camps for an authentic experience.

The Dead Sea

My favourite place in all of the Middle East has to be the Dead Sea! It is the largest free spa on Earth a total MUST visit as it is the most bizarre and unique experience - there is genuinely nothing else like it on this planet. The salt in the water makes you buoyant; you feel like you are defying gravity as the water is pushing you up constantly so you can't sink.
